DONATIONS
Welland Pelham Special Olympics does not receive funding from Special Olympics Ontario to run our local sports programs. The money raised by us through donations and fundraising goes directly to the Welland Pelham Special Olympics bank account and is used to run out programs. It is used to help rent sports fields, gyms, uniforms, competition fees and provide transportation to events.

LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS!
SOO Welland Pelham Basketball still looking for volunteer coaches to
support the D Team!
Special Olympics requires one coach for every five athletes, and it's
important that we create a safe, supportive environment while staying
in line with required guidelines as best as possible.
If you're interested in volunteering, please let Kiala Jacques know
and she'll send you all the necessary details. The basketball season
means to many of our players, so any help in finding additional
volunteers would be greatly appreciated!
The first practice is scheduled for November 6th. after which they'll
evaluate the coaching numbers then and determine next steps if we
haven’t filled the volunteer spots.
